Mrs. Bertha Styles

Bertha Margaret Possehl Styles, 73, formerly of Paramus died on May 7, 2003 in Thomaston, ME after an extended illness. 

Bertha married George Styles in 1948; together they had two children-Glenn Styles of Damariscotta, ME and Linda Styles McIntosh of Boise, ID, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Bertha is survived by her brothers Al Possehl of Paramus and Bobby Possehl of FL. 

Bertha was employed as a bookkeeper for Paramus High School. 

After retiring Bertha and George moved to Thomaston, ME where Bertha volunteered with the Thomaston Historical Society for 15 years as a museum tour guide, archivist and curator. An accomplished seamstress, gardener, bird-watcher and avid history/mystery fan, she lived a full life. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to The American Cancer Society, The Scleroderma Research Foundation or another favored charity.
