Initial Steps
- Create a new Email account for handling reunion communications - ParamusHSYearReunion@gmail.com or similar
- Create a new Facebook Reunion group as a focal point for gathering and disseminating information. Rename the group (from the default long number) to be easily identified and link. Publicize the group on this website and your own personal Fb page.
- Contact local area Hotel for block of rooms to get a group discount for out-of-town attendees.
- Create a new bank account for handling reunion receipts and payments. Find one with no fee and low minimum balance.
- Setup new PayPal*, Venmo, Zelle accounts using new Email and link to bank account. Offer multiple ways to pay in advance.
*Be aware of the transaction fees from PayPal - 2.9% unless payer uses Friends and Family option (no fee). - Make the event Prepayment only
- Do not accept payment at the door! [Payment at the door is a nightmare. Don't do it.]
- Create urgency to get a Ticket or Reservation, i.e. Limited Seating, Occupancy capped at 150, (or whatever venue tells you), price goes up after a date, final reservation date, and so on.
- Create a Slideshow for display on a facility TV. Ask classmates to send photos to include.
- Create a music Playlist for use on a facility sound system
- Create a Memory Board for classmates no longer with us
- Send all the pertinent info to this website's Admin to add to the Upcoming Reunions page. Admin will send an email to your graduation year's subscribers that the Reunions page now has info for their reunion.
- Use elementary school name banners for group photos
- Take the "Last Will and Testament" and make cute speech bubble cards with the info on it. Hang them up or put them on the tables. Class Clown, Most Popular, Class Artist etc.

Join Classmates.com to also post the reunion. Although not widely used, many people still have an unpaid account and would get the email regarding the reunion info. Note that some not using Facebook saw it on Classmates and contacted us.

Purchase a paid People Search account for BEEN VERIFIED, it can be very helpful in locating people, their present address and phone number or often a relative we could contact to help locate them. Men are easier to search for vs. women with married names. This could lead to their relatives who helped find them.
