Judith Kraut Feltman died peacefully in Tenafly, NJ on April 24th, 2018, at the age of 88.

Judy is survived by her loving children, Allen and his wife Susan, Paul and his wife Martha, and Janet. She is also survived by her brother William Kraut and his wife Judy, and her grandchildren Amy, Aaron, and Laura. Judy was born in Jersey City in 1930 to Arthur and Cecilia Kraut, and earned her Bachelor's degree in English from Douglass College in 1951. She later earned her Doctoral degree in Psychology from Hofstra University.

Judy married Alvin Feltman in 1951, raising her family in Englewood, and later moving to Hackensack. Judy enjoyed a long career working as a school psychologist for the Paramus school district. She loved classical music, opera and travel, all of which she enjoyed in the company of her companion in later life, Walter "Bud" Summerfield Jr. Judy was a fiercely independent woman with strong convictions and a wonderful sense of humor. Active in her community, she served in volunteer leadership roles for Women's American ORT and Hadassah.
