Mrs. Betty Kramer

Rebecca Kramer, 91, passed away on November 29, 2007. 

A resident of Teaneck for over 50 years, Mrs. Kramer created the first library at Bryant Elementary School. She retired as a librarian from the Paramus school system, but continued as a substitute well into her 80's. She served as Recording Secretary of the Bergen County Retired Educators Association until her death and was an elected representative to the National Education Association conventions.

The first woman of her family to attend college, Mrs. Kramer graduated from Simmons College. Married to the late Charles S. Kramer, she was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her children and grandchildren. Burial in Framingham, MA. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Heart Association.
