Eleanor D. Faller, 90, of Sarasota, died Dec. 16, 2006. 

She was born May 22, 1916, in North Bergen, N.J., and came to Sarasota in 2000 from Lake Placid. 

She was a manager in the building department at Miramar and an accomplished equestrian and pilot. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. 

Survivors include daughters Barbara J. Reynolds of Sarasota and Carol A. Casal of Matlacha; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
