Mr. Nelson F. Bellesheim

Nelson F. Bellesheim, 82, of the Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Twp., passed away at Community Medical Center Hospice Unit, Toms River on February 4, 2008. 

He was born in Mt. Vernon, NY and lived many years in Paramus, NJ and Indiana before retiring to Toms River over 20 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during World War II. 

He was a Sales Engineer for the Otis Elevator Company. His career spanned over 37 years, and he retired in 1987 from the Indianapolis, IN location. He received a Masters Degree in Engineering and Business Administration from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. 

He was an Emergency Medical Technician for Silver Ridge Park North First Aid Squad; a member and ordained Elder for Presbyterian Church of Toms River; a Rotarian in various locations; a Mason in Paramus; member and past president of Board of Education in Paramus; and Cub Scout Master for Pack 250 in Paramus. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty (nee Dalzell) of 60 years; children Nelson F. Bellesheim, Jr. and his wife Mary of Houston, TX, Karen and Tom Pinnel of Bergenfield, Susan and Bob Stonehouse of Waldwick, Lynn and Tim Wronka of Wayne, Douglas and Mary Bellesheim of Sparta; fifteen grandchildren, Matthew, Cheryl, Katie, Amy, Tom, Nelson III, Michael, Adam, Katie, Timmy, Anne, Keith, Kenny, Adeline, Danny; and a brother Joseph.
