Julia Agnes Haran (nee Kelly), of Paramus passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 on the morning of her 50th wedding anniversary.

Agnes was born in Athenry, Galway Ireland. She came to the United States in 1953 with her sister Bea. She met her husband Michael in 1955 at an Irish dance in New York City and married in 1958. The couple lived in Paramus for forty one years where they raised their four children.

Mrs. Haran was a parishioner of Our Lady of Visitation RC Church in Paramus and member of their Rosary Society. She was also a member of Bergen Irish Society. 

Before retiring, Julia worked in the Paramus High School Cafeteria for 32 years.

Beloved wife of Michael Haran. Devoted mother of Michael Haran and his wife Joanne of Holmdel, Edward Haran and his wife Lisa of Tinton Falls, Maureen Hommen and her husband Kurt of Ridgewood, Eileen Rakowski and her husband Andrew of Ramsey. Dear sister of Bea Franklin, Noreen Farrell, Maureen Sullivan, Kathleen Tuohy, Aine Feeley, Theresa Torpey, Valerie Bernie, Goretti Clarke, Michael, John Joe, Martin, Patrick, Tony Kelly and the late Christy Kelly. Loving grandmother of Kristin and Megan Haran; Kelly, Kurt, Kevin Hommen; Matthew and Michael Haran and Elizabeth and Mary Rakowski.
