Thelma Hards (nee Hogeboom), 89, of Paramus passed away on October 14, 2008. 

Born in Yonkers, New York she has lived in Paramus since 1955.  She was Secretary to the Administrator of the Paramus Board of Education.  She was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Paramus and a member of the Senior Pioneers of Paramus.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard Hards (1985). Devoted mother of Leonard A. Hards of New Milford and the late Richard Hards (1966). Loving grandmother of Stephen Hards, Denise Medina, and the late Debra Hards (1969) and great-grandmother of Nicholas Medina and Tyler Hards. Dear sister of the late Lillian Worth.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Thelma's memory to St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 167 Spring Valley Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.
