Mrs. Dorothea Appleheimer

Dorothea H. Appleheimer (nee Meyer), 84, a resident of Paramus for 61 years, formerly of Jersey City, passed away quietly on Saturday, July 30, 2011 with her family by her side. 

After 25 years of service Dottie retired as the Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools for the Paramus Board of Education in Paramus, NJ. 

Dear wife of the late Harry T. Appleheimer, Jr. (1969). Loving mother of Harry John Appleheimer and his wife Annette of Brick, Gary Mark Appleheimer and his partner Diane Roth of Jackson and Betty Jean Herlinksy and her husband Paul of Paramus. Loving grandmother of Jill, Kristen, Kendra, Richard and William. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the ARC of Ocean County, Journey Program, 815 Cedar Bridge Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701-04933.
