Mr. Kenneth Xheraj

1990                                   1992

May 1, 1962 - November 9, 2025

Kenneth Xheraj, known affectionately by friends and family as Kenny X, took his best rest on November 9, 2025. Born on a sunny spring day, May 1, 1962, in the land of the Double-Headed Eagle, Albania, Kenny's journey brought him to a peaceful close in Maywood, NJ. He was the proud father to his only son, Kenny Jr. One of 11 siblings, a devoted son and friend to all.

The man was a legend in his own right, not just because he somehow convinced everyone his favorite sports team was "whoever won" (FanDuel and AC abound), but because his zest for life was as infectious as his laugh. Kenny spent many of his younger days committed to completing his career and retiring from the Paramus Board of Education.

Kenny was always all in for a new adventure or destination. He traveled with the gusto of a man on a mission to feel the sand on his feet of every beach he could get to. Some of his favorite being in Key West and the pink sand of Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda. A lover of food and always ready to try somewhere new to enjoy a bite to eat. The man wasn't lost at sea; he was embracing the waves like an old friend.

Not one to be pinned down, Kenny was as selfless as they come, always the first to offer the shirt off his back, even if it was his favorite one. His optimism was the kind that would make a rainbow look at him and think, "Man, I gotta step up my game."

His friends would tell you, Kenny was the guy you wanted in your corner. He was the one who'd show up with a smile and a joke, and always be ready to tell you some Kenny X stories.

So, here's to Kenny X, a man whose legacy is as bright and bold as his personality. A son who cherished his parents, a father whose love knew no bounds, a brother among many, and a friend to all. His was a life lived with laughter, joy, and the kind of stories that will be told and retold. As we bid farewell to Kenny X, let's do so with a smile on our faces and a chuckle in our hearts, just as he would have wanted. After all, in the grand comedy club of life, Kenny X was a headliner through and through, and his final punchline was as graceful as it was poignant. Take a bow, Kenny, the standing ovation is all for you.
