Vincent Mosdar, Paramus High School Faculty
September 3, 1940 - November 28, 2022

MOSDAR, Vincent, 82, of Wyckoff, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022.  He was born and raised in Nutley, NJ to William and Ceila (Cicalese) Mosdar. He has been a resident of Wyckoff for over 30 years. Vincent received his master’s degree from Montclair State University and worked as a teacher for 29 years at Paramus High School teaching electronics and audio-visual engineering, before retiring in 1992.  Vince enjoyed the art of “handcrafting” wine, gardening, attending and tailgating at the New York Giants games, and he also enjoyed skiing and silly jokes. Vincent was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s RC Church in Wyckoff.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cathy (Fede) Mosdar, beloved daughter Kim Duncan and her soulmate Bretton May, Cathy’s daughters Renee Sebok and her husband Thomas, and Erica Brunton and her husband Michael.  Devoted grandfather to Georgia, Reese, Emma, and Oliver.  He was predeceased by his sister Jean Libby. Vincent’s pride and joy was his family, and he will be greatly missed by so many.

Virginia Behnke (Lutton) (1967)

Vince, you were a wonderful friend!   And the guy who taught so many kids electronics and made the coolest projects with them! 

My across-the-hall fellow teacher in the department!  Made my years as one of the art teachers VERY interesting...talked me into being a ski club advisor, then taught me to ski!   Hope there are mogals up there!

I will miss your warm frienship!
