Donald Vogt - Class of 1973

 

 

 

Paramus - Vogt, Donald Kevin, 63, a lifelong resident of Paramus, died suddenly on December 20, 2018.

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Julia Ciulla Vogt, his cherished daughter, Hailey Lynn, and his faithful companion, Jack the cat.  He is the son of the late William J. and Mary Vogt.  He is also survived by his brother, Stephen and his wife Sue and their children, Chris and Kim Vogt and Jennifer and Sal Valerio.  His brothers William J Vogt Jr. ('66) and Robert E. Vogt ('70), and his sisters Janet (Vogt) Donaghy ('71) and Mary Cathy (Vogt) Kavanagh.  Also survived by his in-laws, Cynthia and John Martel and Barbara and Henry Vander Veer as well as his nieces and nephew, Bethie Martel, Laura and Joe Cipolat and Lisa Vander Veer.  He was the adored great uncle of Sophia, Ben, Caitlin, Aaron, and Owen.

 

He was a longtime employee of Verizon, a former member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park and a former roller hockey coach in Paramus.  Donald will forever be remembered by his countless friends for his outgoing personality, his sense of humor and his story-telling.
