JoAnn Maresca

January 22, 1957 - October 5, 2026

JoAnn Maresca passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 69, after a brief illness.

A loving and supportive friend, sister, aunt and daughter, JoAnn kept lifelong relationships that were a testament to how much she was loved.

JoAnn graduated from William Paterson College with a B.A. degree. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and Sunday dinners with her family and helping out with her beloved niece and nephew, Elisabeth and Alexander. She was devoted to caring for her parents as they aged.

She was passionate about her cherished pet dogs and derived great joy from watching others’ pets from park benches with her friends. She also loved her goddaughter, Deanna, and enjoyed sharing pictures of Deanna’s son Sonny.

JoAnn is survived by her sister Catherine and her husband Nicholas; her niece Elisabeth and nephew Alexander; and cousins David and his wife Karen; Thomas and his wife Linda; and Anthony. She is predeceased by her parents Maureen and Charles.
