I had the pleasure of jamming with Billy a few times. He was an innovative drummer, always looking for some new approach, new sound to make a song sound different. He was "hip" in a way that none of the other kids in the class were .

To say I am devastated by this does not even begin to express how I feel. First and foremost my heart goes out to Bill's family, friends and extended family. Bill was always one of my classmates with whom I had wanted to reconnect. Bill sat behind me in Mr. Boyce's English class. What a crush I had on him. We also collaborated on a play in our Jr. year in Mr. Piazza's English class. Bill was way ahead of his time. I would say avant garde. Still had that crush. He was a bit quiet, most profound, and gentle. We were both in NHS. I just reread what he wrote in my yearbook amongst a flood of tears.
Dearest Bill, I pray that if you had any pain or suffering, since you reposed much too early, that our most merciful God relieved you of all pain and suffering.
