Worked in NYC as a Network Specialist for Miramax, Disney, Major law firms and companies.  Published author, and excellent photographer.  Karl redid and maintained a 1860's farm house, from bare bones to gorgeous home.  Hobbies: Always loved his trains - both model and massive.  Had a small collection of "prized" Santa Fe train memorabilia.  Karl had a super quick wit, a lending hand and enormously kind heart.

Survived By: Shane Richard Erk, (son), Krysten Leigh Erk, (daughter), Ed Combs, Brother in law, Patti Coombs, Sister in law, Shelly Wilcock, Sister in law, a Sister Karen Erk, as well as nieces & nephews. Many friends who loved him very much.
