Steven Lotosky - Class of 1970

Steven M. Lotosky, Jr., 68, of Long Valley, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in his home surrounded by family. Steven was born on May 14, 1952 in New York City, NY.  Son of Steven and Doris Lotosky, growing up in Paramus, NJ, Steven attended Paramus High School, and later graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island, where he met his loving wife, Debbie.

Steven's father, Steven Lotosky Sr., founded Family Ford in Netcong, NJ in 1979 and Steven joined him in the business a year later.  He worked at the dealership for 40 years, becoming President of Family Ford when his father retired.  Steven, along with his brother, Mark Lotosky, successfully operated and expanded the dealership, making it an integral part of the local communities.

Steven enjoyed all activities, especially fishing, golfing, hunting, and spending time at his summer home down the Jersey Shore.  He loved being with people and possessed the rare gift of forming new friendships wherever he went.  Most importantly, he was a loving husband and wonderfully devoted father to his two sons.

Steven is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Lotosky, sons, Brian and Sean Lotosky, brothers, Jeffrey and his wife Tonya, and Mark Lotosky, sisters, Donna Bryson, and Lisa Lotosky and her partner David Stevenson, and many loving nieces and nephews.
