Peter Sabella was a good friend. When I got out of the Navy I rented a room from his mom. Pete went to The american Academy of Dramatic Arts did some parts in soaps and went into radio. He was a DJ on very big stations. Whenever I would pass through an area that he would broadcast I would call him from the airport and he would natter with my crew live.

He lived down the street from POPS Tashjian, he counted Al D, Billie Monte, Phil Bibbo, John Gargano, John Schneider, Bob Osinoff, Paul Peccarro, Larry Lazar and Paul T as really good friends.

He had two children when I lost contact with him. He was a very heavy smoker and had lung cancer.  A really caring person with a big heart...

About 15 years ago Bibbo, Schneider, Monti and I played the first Pete Sabella Memorial Golf Tournament on the Blue Monster at the Concord Hotel. All we Talked about was how much you would have enjoyed the day and how we missed you. We still do, but know you are looking down on us and laughing!!!!!
