Joseph A. Ackerman, Jr. 41 years of age, of Knowlton Township, NJ, formerly of Bergen County, NJ, passed away at his home in Knowlton, NJ on December 15, 2018. He was born in Ridgewood, Nj on May 14, 1977 to Joseph A. Ackerman, Sr. and Carol S. (Diemun) Ackerman. He was a retired fireman with the Hackensack, NJ Department.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph A. Ackerman, Sr. and Carol S. (Diemun) Ackerman, a daughter, Lauren Ackerman, two sisters, Lorene Rogers and Jamie Lynn Ackerman.
