Peter J Terlecky - Class of 1960 VIEW PROFILE

Peter J. Terlecky, 75 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away on Wednesday October 10th, 2018. Peter was born and raised in Manhattan.  As a teen he moved to Paramus, NJ and spent the next 50 years raising his family there.  Peter served for over three years in the U.S. Army and soon after, started his career at Millar Elevator Industries in New York City. He later joined New York Elevator as the Vice President of Modernization. 

 
After 42 years, Peter retired with his wife Eileen and moved to Little Egg Harbor, NJ in 2005.  He remained active in the community by taking on a second career as a real estate agent at Red Top Realty.  He was actively involved in the Little Egg Harbor Growth and Development Committee, the Osbourne Island Dredging Committee, and Chamber of Commerce.  In addition, as part of the Osbourne Island Association, he made many lifelong friends. Peter was also a proud member of the NRA. He loved boating, being with friends in Atlantic City and spending time with his family.
 
Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen Terlecky and his parents Peter and Helen Terlecky.  He is survived by his daughters Heather Gabilanes and husband Daniel of Old Bridge, NJ and Tricia Cummings and husband Robert of Waldwick, NJ and his grandchildren Lucas and Sophia Gabilanes and Robert and Bristol Cummings.
