GODLEY - Leslie Anne, 49 of Sanibel Island, FL, died September 24, 2006 in the Hope Hospice in Fort Meyers, FL. Leslie was the daughter of May and William Godley of Cedar Crest Village, Pompton Plains, NJ and formerly long time residents of Paramus NJ. Leslie attended Our Lady of the Visitation Parochial School and graduated from Paramus High. She attended Keene State College NH and Graduated with a Degree in Music. She earned a Teacher's Certificate. Leslie taught in Lodge Pole and Eureka MT, Plymouth NH, and in the School District of Lee County FL. Leslie enjoyed the open air where she hiked, skied, cycled, canoed, and wind surfed. She was a SCUBA diver. She was a participant in a Breast Cancer support group aiding those, who like herself, were confronted with the disease. Leslie is survived by her parents, a brother Douglas of New York City, and four aunts. S. Therese Butler of the Congregation of Notre Dame Montreal PQ, Mrs. Blanche Pickard of Milton ON, Mrs. Sybil Smith of Sussex BC, and Mrs. June Barker of Naniamo BC and many cousins.
