I remember spending a lot of time watching Jimmy pull away from the rest of us running the half-mile event on Eastbrook's track team. You just couldn't keep up with him. Coach LaBarb used to get really excited with the times he was turning in. That kid would have made a name for himself had we not lost him so young. It was a stunning loss of a really nice guy.
