Glen Skinner - Class of 1967

Glenn M. Skinner, 62, Formerly of Fishkill / Beacon died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at home surrounded by family, and friends and assisted by Hospice of the North Country.

Born in Teaneck, New Jersey, June 18th, 1948, he was the son of Mark G. and Marie (Dohmyer) Skinner. 

He was married to Deidre Germain on July 7, 1979 in Paramus New Jersey.

Glenn graduated from Paramus High School, Paramus,N.J. He enlisted into the United States Navy and served active duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged. Glenn Graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1979. 

He was employed in New York City as a Master Executive Chef for many years. He was later employed at the Franklin Correctional Facility, Malone New York. He was a member of the Chateaugay Rotary and an Honorary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Skinner is survived by his wife of 31 years Deidre (Germain) Skinner, a son, Justin Skinner of Chateaugay Lake; two Grandchildren Jared Skinner and Jada Magliano of Newburgh New York; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorranine and Wayne Knapp of Sudbury MA., and nieces, Lisa and Neil Genaway, Shari and Steve Glover, Laurie and Ric Levusseaur, Karen and David Fellerman; and 15 great nieces and nephews; a brother-in -law, Robert Germain of Springfield Mass, ; and a newphew Robert Germain Jr., a sister-in-law, Michelle Germain of Springfield, Mass,; and niece Tarra Germain and three great-nieces, a nephew Seth Germain, and his loving pets Lacy, Jo-Jo, and Blue.
