Colleen Stains (Clancy) - Class of 1965

Colleen Clancy of Tannersville, NY, passed away on July 3, 2009, in Rockledge, FL, after battling cancer for 16 months. Her devoted husband, Joe Clancy, was at her side.

Colleen grew up in Paramus, NJ, where her loving parents, William and Florence Stains, still reside. She is also survived by her sister, Gloria Banach (husband Paul) of Paramus and her nephews, William (& son William) and Paul along with his wife April and their children (Paul, Kendra, and Olivia.)

Colleen attended William Patterson College where she majored in Physical Education. She held various jobs in business and restaurant management before embracing a career in the wine industry where her intelligence, conscientiousness, and genuine warmth earned her the respect and admiration of clients and colleagues. Colleen was the East Regional manager for Freixenet USA.

When she was not at her desk or on a business trip, Colleen could be found on the golf course or in her garden. She had a zest for life and a sparkling smile that will live forever in the hearts of Joe, her family and her many friends.
