Claudia Haxhiu

Claudia Haxhiu, 23, of Paramus, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Loving daughter of Vladimir and Brunilda Haxhiu. Treasured sister of Daniel Haxhiu and Mateo Haxhiu.

Claudia was an exceptional student, sister, and friend. During her years at PHS, she was a member of the National Honor Society, enrolled in multiple honors classes, and proudly played for the girls’ soccer team. She consistently strived for excellence, earning strong grades while building meaningful connections with both classmates and faculty. 

After graduating high school, Claudia pursued a degree in Biology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She excelled in her first year, but her studies were cut short when she was diagnosed with leukemia. For five years, Claudia fought courageously, showing remarkable strength and resilience. 

On July 31, 2025, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Claudia’s strength, kindness, and spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, her memory will live on in the many lives she touched. Taken too soon, rest in peace Claudia Haxhiu.

Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
