School Story:
All of my stories come from Sophomore Year, in Mr. Brewer's US History class.
- We came back from lunch on a spring day with the classroom smelling like absolute sewage. Mr. Brewer left his windows open and conveniently allowed the pungent smell of a port-a-potty truck to waft its way into the classroom. I remember every one taking out their various body sprays and perfumes to try and mask the smell, but it really only made it worse.
Then Mr. Brewer came in and, appalled by the odor, saved us all with one massive coat of Lavender Febreze. The whole thing was hilarious to me, but what really got me was Brewer's Facial expression while spraying the Febreze. I've never seen anyone more on a mission than him in that moment.
- At the end of the year, after the Teacher Softball game, we spent the first 10-15 minutes of class admiring Mr. Brewer's new computer background, which was a picture of himself pitching at the game. My favorite part was when someone told him to "tile" the picture so it repeated endlessly and how excited he got about it.
Unforgettable.
