The summer I was graduated from PHS, I spent it as an intern on an archaeological dig in Front Royal, VA (outside Washington, D.C.), then went to Rutgers University (Rutgers College - the Main Campus in New Brunswick) and was graduated in 1979 with a BS in Physical Anthropology, and Minors in English Literature and Music History. I then moved to San Francisco (where I acquired the AIDS virus -- the plague) for two years and returned to Paramus and sought work in the graphic design field. I eventually found a position with a large non-profit organization (UJA-Federation of NY) in NYC and stayed there for 15 years. I moved to Seattle WA in 1997 and have been here ever since. I became to ill to work and went out on Social Security Disability soon thereafter, but managed to get part-time jobs working the Titanic Exhibit when it came to Seattle, and worked in a small hardware store for six years and got to know just about everything there was to know in hardware. (Who would have guessed?) Throughout my early years from Grammar School (Stoney Lane Elementary) until the present, I have been a voracious reader and a furious writer. I can -- when the spirit moves me -- write upwards of 7500 words a day, but that is rare. I am still seeking publication of my work (2 novels, a series of novellas and many, many short stories.

The best 'thing' that ever happened to me was coming in contact with Mr Robert Boyce: he changed my world. The best event we as Seniors could do for him was to give him a memorial dinner at the Swiss Chalet, and invite many of his favorite Alum PHS Students.

My other favorite teachers were Mr Lanz, Frau Yanker, Emil Sanzari (thank you for Equus! We were too young! But, I guess seeing the premier mounting of Jesus Christ Superstar and Candide made up for it))

Finally, all my years working on the Delphian...for just being a gofer, then to Co-Art and -Literary Editors during my Senior Year.
