Steve Florio

July 19, 1956 – September 27, 2025

Steven Joseph Florio, born July 19, 1956, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the age of 69. Known back home in Paramus, New Jersey as "Big Flo", Steve worked for the many family businesses from a Truck Driver to Limousine Driver to the Jersey Pizza Man.

Steven moved to San Antonio in 1990 where he partnered with his parents to reopen their pizza business. The original site was on Stahl Road. A year later they moved to a larger location on Nacogdoches Road and then eventually in 1995 they opened the existing location that everyone has come to love, located on Broadway and West Nottingham. Florio's Pizza is one of the top pizzerias in San Antonio.

Steven is pre-deceased by his parents, Rose and Joe and his sister Patty. He is survived by his siblings; Joe, Jeff and his wife Deb, from Texas; Valerie and her husband Bob from New Jersey; Peter from Nevada, Tina and her husband Charlie from New York: three Nephews; Joey, Vincent and Dominic from Texas, three Nieces; Kristy from North Carolina, Anna Marie from New Jersey and Jeanne Marie from Nevada.
