James K. Morton, 72, Vietnam veteran, patriot, beloved father and grandfather

James K. Morton, 72, the unofficial "Mayor of the Forest/Bard Ave. Starbucks" and integral member of the famous Pal Joey's family, passed away peacefully at his home on March 6, 2020.

James proudly served during the Vietnam War as a helicopter gunner. His love of his country and patriotism was unparalleled and was obvious in his home decor and sense of fashion. He loved the Yankees and the Giants and was an avid fan of both teams. Most of all, he was proud of his children and grandchildren, whom he loved dearly and more than words.

James is survived by adoring children, Laura Morton (James Columbo), Janine Bellucci (Christopher), and James Morton (Theresa), and his loving grandchildren, Alexandra, CJ, and Taylor.
