Verona "Ronnie" Porrino Besserer

May 16, 1946 - June 18, 2025

Verona Besserer (nee Porrino), known to most as "Ronnie," 79, of Paramus, passed peacefully, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, following a ten year battle with cancer. Before retiring Ronnie worked as a Property Manager. She was a parishioner at Sacred Heart RC Church in Rochelle Park. Ronnie was a selfless lady who did for others before herself. She instilled kindness, love, compassion, and honesty in her children and grandchildren.   

Beloved wife of Robert Besserer. Loving mother of David (Lorrayne Picerno) Besserer. Devoted grandmother of Joseph Besserer, Max Besserer, Liam Besserer, Emily-Grace (Kali) Lynch-Lelonek, Reilly (Dakota) Besserer-Knight, Aidan (Rebekah) Besserer, and great-grandmother of Weston, Evelyn-Rose, & Luna. Dear sister of Dianne Celentano, brother, Butch (Mary) Porrino. Predeceased by her son, Robert Besserer, Jr. (2021).

Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
