Howard N. Gunter
Howard Gunter, 70, of Rochelle Park, formerly of Paramus, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Loving husband of Diane Gunter (nee Jacklin), of 45 years. Devoted father of Susan (Dean) Rayside and Katie (Matt) Slattery. Cherished Pop of Kaitlyn, Derek, Madison, & Kelsey. Brother of Joan King and Richard Gunter and brother-in-law of Nancy Jacklin. Son of the late Marjorie and Norman Gunter. Uncle to 3 nephews and 2 nieces and friend to many.
A graduate of Paramus High School and Trenton State College, Howard worked for the Lowe's Corp. as a corporate sales manager and then for Ramada and later Sheraton as a national sales manager. In 1994 he became a proud owner of the Lido Restaurant, Hackensack, NJ, until his retirement in 2019. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Oh I am so sad to hear of Howie's passing. While we lost touch after high school, he was such a fun person to hang out with back them. I also had no idea that has became a partner at Lido's in Hackensack. My prayers are going out to the entire family. No words are ever adequate at a time like this but know that I'm praying that God comforts you and heals your broken hearts.
