One of my best memories about Sal was we both went to Newark for our physicals because we would be drafted into the Army. At the end of the day I was going to home to wait for the next step to get aletter to go to fort dix. This was in 65 when Vietnam was growing. On the way back on the bus home he told me he wouldn't be going in the Army he was to tall. How is that for fate. He never had a bad bone in his body Miss you Richie

Re: SAL Grootenboer passing, I remember him even before High School. He was easy to talk to and always had a big smile. I know he will be missed by his family. So sorry for their loss.
