Kevin Michael Latchford

Kevin departed this earth at home on June 24, 2024. He was a Paramus resident for most of his life. Born in Passaic, NJ on April 6, 1964. He graduated from Paramus High School in 1982 and Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1986 with a degree in electrical engineering. He was the Director of Quality Engineering at Marotta Controls in Montville, NJ for more than 27 years.

Cherished son of Virginia of Waldwick, NJ, whom he helped tremendously. Beloved brother of Jack and his wife KC and Tom and his wife Sue. Treasured uncle to Tim Latchford and his wife Sarah, Cally Latchford and her husband Doug Salvemini, Rebecca Latchford Klinicki and her husband Steve, Jenni Latchford and her fiancé Eric Fitzpatrick, as well as three great nieces Emerson, Blake, and Mara and one great nephew Kellan. He loved them all. He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Latchford (1999).

We all have great memories of our times together growing up and boating on Lake George. He was a Civil War expert - while the rest of us were reading about the war in one volume, Kevin was reading about individual officers and soldiers. He was a great guide to bring along for a battlefield visit. Kevin had a great sense of humor, many hours where spent laughing at Monty Python quotes. He will be missed by all.

Kevin’s passing has left a hole in many hearts, and he is going to be sorely missed. Inurnment at George Washington Memorial Park.
