Frank L. Roemer

November 7, 1963  -  March 16, 2025

Frank Roemer, 61, of Watchung, formerly of Paramus, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, after a brief illness. Frank was a market research consultant, and owner of Roemer Research for more than 30 years.

Frank’s life was full of diverse interests that brought people together.  His passion for music began early and his talents emerged quickly.  He continued to play keyboards, guitar and other instruments throughout his life, jamming with whoever was available.  Frank enjoyed travel of all kinds, be it international destinations, hiking adventures, ski trips, music festivals, as well as relaxation on a beach.  Following in his father’s footsteps, he enjoyed the daily challenge of the NY Times Crossword.   His love of Long Beach Island and he and his wife Brenda’s Surf City neighborhood were clear to all, as was how much he cherished his friends and family.  He was always energetic at family holidays and other celebrations, as he was with his incredibly large, but close group of friends, plying all with his clever humor while always showering all in his tremendous kindness.

 Frank was the cherished husband of Brenda Colatrella and loving brother to Michael (Cathy) Roemer, Mafalda Presnal, Frances (Tim) McNierney and Howard Roemer. He was also a treasured uncle to Andrew (Celeste) Presnal, Aidan McNierney, Emma McNierney, Dana (Charles) Neri, Krista SanGiacomo, Claudia Colatrella, and Matthew Colatrella.  He will be sorely missed.

Family will receive friends on Friday March 21, 2025 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm & Saturday March 22, 2025 from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home following visitation.
