Hi Buddy. I had a dream with you in it last night. I was walking into a shopping mall and you were walking out. You looked just the same as you did in high school, except you had crutches and were wincing in pain a bit. You didn't see me, but I saw you immediately and shouted, "Buddy Bickford!". You turned around and I walked toward you. I told you that I saw you on the memorial page of our alumni website. You said to me that it was a mistake that you were on that page. You said that you were involved in a bad accident, lost everything and were trying to get some help. I told you I had a 3/2 with only one roommate, so, you were more than welcome to the third bedroom. I tried to give you my phone number, but for some reason I couldn't remember it. You then gave me a big hug, and said to me not to worry because you will always find me. Then I woke up.

When I first scanned the Spartan's Memorial Page in November 2023, I was very sad to see you on that page. I remember you as someone with a big heart, non-judgmental with a calm spirit. At least, this is how I always saw you from Grammar School, all the way up to High School. Good-bye, my Buddy.
