Rev. Fr. Anthony Joseph Falsarella

The Reverend Father Anthony Joseph Falsarella, 64, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

He was born on July 2, 1958 in Passaic, NJ. On August 10, 1990, he was ordained into the Greek Orthodox Faith in Astoria, NY. For the past 33 years, Fr. Anthony served at St. Basil Academy in Garrison, NY, where he also held the position of Administrator.

Survivors include his mother Evelyn J. Falsarella, of Carlisle, NY; his brother, Joseph F. (Irene) Falsarella of Sharon Springs, NY; his sister, Mary Louise (Randy) Broadwell of Carlisle, NY; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. Fr. Anthony was predeceased by his father, Frank V. Falsarella, in 2011.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Basil Academy or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
