Susan J Brock

Susan (nee Ferretti), 74, of Upper Saddle River, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 23, 1950, Susan was raised in Paramus by her parents, Louis and Corinne, and attended grammar school at Annunciation R.C. Church before entering Paramus High. It is there that she met the love of her life, Thomas. Wherever Susan went, Tom was sure to follow! They were the best of friends throughout high school and he transferred to William Paterson to be closer to her. Susan continued her studies at William Paterson University, earning a degree in Special Education. Married at the age of 21, Susan would go on to teach for 2 years before starting a beautiful family. Her students were so important to her; Sue and Tom would take her students horseback riding and to special events frequently. Horseback riding was one of her passions which she instilled in her children. Following in her father's footsteps, Susan established International Tool and Manufacturing, Inc. in 2008 with her husband and son, and served as the company's President and “Chief Mom”.

Susan's beautiful smile and generous spirit touched every person she met. Her kindness and volunteerism came naturally and she inspired many others including her students, neighborhood, church, children, grandchildren, extensive family, and friends.

Susan's greatest joy in life was her family: She was the most incredible wife, daughter, mother, and Nana to her 11 grandchildren. She loved being surrounded by her family and maintaining traditions. Predeceased by her mother just a few months ago, they shared the same love of cooking, baking, gardening, and entertaining. Susan took every opportunity to get the family together, whether it was for celebrations, holidays, or a weekly Sunday dinner. She loved to be surrounded by her loved ones and never ran out of love to share - everyone was family.

Cherished wife of 52 years of Thomas Brock. Devoted mother of Tara Winters and her husband Chris, Alisyn Brock, Ryan Brock and his wife Colleen, Gia Norris and her husband Sean, and Suzanne Brock. Adored grandmother of Shane, Lucia, Ava, Sydney, Luka, Rhett, Jonah, Max, Belle, Shea, and Mia. Loving sister of Corinne Pecile and Louis Ferretti.
