Elaine Vadala
July 8, 1955 - July 14, 2025
Elaine Marie Palma, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, at Gulfside Hospice, surrounded by love at the age of 70.
Born on July 8, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, Elaine brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to everyone she met. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Palma, and a loving mother to Dana Palma and Lindsey Ferreira. She took tremendous joy in being a grandmother to Robert, Aiden, JohnAnthony, Christian, and AJ, and a cherished sister to Annette.
Elaine loved the simple pleasures of life — traveling, long conversations with friends, a good card game, sunny days by the beach or pool, and watching her stories. Her generous spirit, quick wit, and caring heart made her the center of many lives, and she will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
In keeping with Elaine’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. In her memory, donations may be made to the American Lung Association to support research and advocacy for those affected by lung disease.
Elaine’s life was filled with love and laughter — a legacy that lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
