Jamie (Melchiorre) Vitrone

February 18, 1955 ~ February 20, 2014

Jamie Vitrone, age 59, of Lake Worth, Florida peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 20th, 2014.

Friends and family will be received at 11:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton, Florida.

Jamie was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on February 18, 1955 to Daniel and Virginia Melchiorre. After graduating from Hackensack High School she continued on to receive a vocational degree as a beautician from the Capri School of Beauty in Clifton, New Jersey.

Jamie was married to Kenneth John Vitrone on April 5, 1975; they were married 38 years and enjoyed their time together in sunny south Florida.

Jamie retired as an office manager from the Safety Council of Palm Beach County in 2011.  She enjoyed making jewelry, cooking new recipes, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. She cherished her three Schnauzers: Spencer, PeeWee, and Crocket as well as other furry friends who preceded her in death.

Jamie is survived by her husband Kenneth; her mother and father in law Ann and Vito; her sister Lorayne; her children Mark, Mary, Jennifer, and Chris; and her grandchildren Marianna and Makenna; as well as other beloved family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Virginia Melchiorre as well as her brother Daniel J Melchiorre.
