Emery Alex "Jim" Farkas

Emery Alex Farkas, Jr., age 60, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. Born in Passaic, NJ, on October 14, 1952, he was the son of Emery A. Farkas, Sr., of Florida, and the late Mary Ann Vitale Farkas.

A U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Farkas was employed with the Department of Defense as a logistics/weapons systems manager. He loved spending time with his family, his dog, Rascal, and watching movies. A true patriot, he was proud to serve his country in the military and at his job.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Teresa Cavanagh Farkas; sons, James E. Farkas, Ocean Grove, NJ, and Raymond M. Farkas, Newark, DE; brother, Glenn Farkas, Iselin, NJ; and seven grandchildren.
