Sorry to hear of Ricks passing. My heart and prayers go out to his family. I have so many great memories of Rick, as a fellow teammate and buddy on the fabulous Spartan football team. Rick was a fine quarterback who was always fun to be with. RIP my friend.

When Steve and I learned of Ricky's passing, it truly saddened us. Although we had not remained in touch since high school, he was one of those people you wondered how he was doing throughout the years. He was smart, a fine athlete and very handsome.  None of these qualities did he recognize in himself.  He was always a humble kind of guy. Teen years are usually the ones that we find ourselves in conflict with our families....but I'll always remember Ricky's love for his. His capacity to love never wavered.  He was a great friend and someone that never had a bad word spoken about him.  If there is a front seat reserved in heaven...Ricky is sitting in it.  Our thoughts are with his family and friends.  We were so lucky to have known him.  He was one of the "Good Guys".

So sorry to hear of Ricky's passing. He was definitely "one of the good ones."  I'm so glad I got to see him and speak with him at the last reunion. My condolences to the family. You'll be missed, Rick.

I just signed on to this site and was surprised to see this notice of my brother's passing.  I was his little sister for 56 years and I, too, know he was a really good guy.   It warmed my heart to read the comments.  Rick and his wife, Barbara, raised two remarkable children.  He couldn't have been prouder of his kids, Andrea and Daniel.  A personality like Rick's you do not come across too often.  I'm sure he is having fun in Heaven with our Mom and Dad. Thanks again for the kind thoughts.
