Prayers and thoughts for Don's family in this difficult time. I remember Don to be a fine gentlemen and a stand-up person - exemplified by his USMC heritage. I'm sure his family benefited by from his character and devotion. Rest in peace, Don. You will be missed.

I have great memories of growing up in the same neighborhood with Don ("Duck") Turner and being "Bullard Bombers" together, along with Vic Canzani. Duck and I were in many classes together from Spring Valley School all the way through PHS. Our earlier stickball games in the street led to Little League and Bath Ruth together. In HS, Duck would pick me up in his Chevy convertible and we would drive to PHS football games and the victory party afterwards. The trips down to the Shore were really special. I remember when Duck told me he had to go to the Selective Service office in Hackensack to be inducted. When he got there, it was the Marines that drafted him and not the Army. It was off to Cuba. Duck was a loyal and trusted friend. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

I lived up the street and around the corner from Don. Fond memories of a wonderful guy. Bless your family.
