My mom died yesterday. There, I said it. It's hard to say. I don't want to say it. I don't want it to be real. Tina Marlene Reo was the most amazing person. She taught me how to be a strong woman, a loving wife and mom and most of all, a daughter of Christ. She dedicated her life to helping others in every way possible. From being an RN to delivering bibles and socks to the homeless in NYC, she showed Rob and I how to be better humans. How to leave the world better than you found it. She loved Marc like he was her own son and he loved her like he was. She was an integral part of our family and Gabby and Olivia's biggest cheerleader. At less than five feet tall, she was the strongest person I know and the biggest person in the room. We were blessed to be with her and I am honored to be her daughter. And now she is Home. We love you Mom.
So sorry to hear of Tina's passing. We did keep in contact and she always was a breath of fresh air. She will always be remembered as the most beautiful lady inside and out. From our high school days she was always the most beautiful lady that every guy wanted. She never changed and I got to know more of her in these later years and all I can say is she was special and now is with her lord and savior for sure. Kim my prayers go out to you and your family. Your words for your mother were beautiful so and so true. God bless you and your family. May she rest in peace. God took a special angel.........Jimmy Sabini.
I Didn't keep in touch with Tina much after high school. We did reconnect at some of our later Class Reunions. I have known Tina since 4th grade. My first impressions of her were very positive. I moved into Paramus in the summer and most of the kids were already here for a year or maybe 2. I lived right down the stree from her. Actually she couldn't leave the development without going by our old ramshakle house. Since it was summer it was hard to meet and make new friends. Tina made that much easier for me. She was delightful and always positive and friendly. In fact she taught me how to dance. Every dance, since her mom was a dance teacher I guess it came naturally to her. But it was always fun. After eight years in the same classes we moved on. But not Tina. She kept close contact with all of her other classmates and after 40 years I attended a class reunion and There was Tina. A little older but the same friend I met back in the early 50's It was like no time had past. We tried to get together a couple of times in the last few years but it never worked out. I will miss her and her great personality and her ability to make you feel at home and comfortable when she was around. God bless you and your family. Huggs Lynne
So sorry to read this. We reconnected at the 40th and on FB. She was one of those people where the passage of time did little to change. She was as easy to recognize at the 40th as she was on graduation day.
