John Feane (1977)

Hello,

Jill was my friend. We went to Parkway school together thru HS. I often would pass by on my yellow Schwinn Super Sport bike and we would talk.

I really liked her then, she was nice but we were just kids then. She had a nice smile.

One summer sunny afternoon, I saw Jill and I stopped on my bike to talk.

Jill was standing on the sidewalk and I was stopped in the street with my foot on the curb.  

All of a sudden the 1969 burgandy Bonniville that was parked in the driveway across the street backing silently into me, knocking me and my bike down and getting me pinned under the car by the gas tank. Jill and I both yelled and she tried to stop the car. If she was here i bet she would remember that.

It turned out that the 2 little kids across the street were playing in the car and they put the car in neutral. It rolled backwards down the driveway and backed over me. If it wasnt for the curb that sopped the car, it would have also run down Jill as well.

Im going to miss Jill. 

I will always remember the bicycle episode. It would have been really nice to hang out with her more.
