So very sad to hear the  passing of Ronnie.  He was a fighter with hope and determination for sure!  He will be missed by many.

He was about 9 years  older than I and a car nut like me. I believe I met him volunteering at the  Rescue Squad when it was next to the Midland School when  I was all of 17 and he  about 26 years old. He showed me how easy it was to replace the fuel filter on my 1960 Caddy Limo. He was full of knowledge, loved his cars, loved life,  and was man of   great compassion.

I recall him telling me to " be who you are and embrace it".

God rest his soul and may he  be  at peace and in no more pain.

Heaven just gained a great Mechanic!

So upsetting to hear of Ron's passing - he was one of the "good guys."  I remember his friendly smile and positive outlook . . . he will be sincerely missed, but he's out of pain now!

Rest in peace, Ron. You were one of the first people to welcome me to PHS when I transferred from BC. You were one of the friendliest people I met.
