To all of Karja's friends: Thank you so much for the remembrances. She is with us all, and though some of you may not have seen her for awhile, you were always in her heart. I was always amazed at how much she remembered of a person after not seeing them for years and years. You were all a part of her life. It goes without saying that if you were her friend, then you are very special person. She was only friends with the good ones.

I have many fond memories of Karja coming to my home with my brother (Phil Ferrari), when my son Anthony (now 15) was a toddler. I'm sure after many hours of suffering Karja is now in a better place. May she rest in peace.

Karja and I have been friends for almost 30 years. We have shared so many wonderful times in sports, school and life in general. It was a pleasure to have her as a bridesmaid in my wedding and to be such a part of my family for so long.

Although she suffered so much in the end, she hung on to life for as long as she could. I was so blessed to have known such a person with a huge heart. Hopefully her mom and nana were waiting for her.

A beautiful angel that will look over all of us has entered heaven on Sunday, September 12, 2004.
