Marian Maurer Higgins

Hardyston Twp: Marian Higgins, 58, died Thursday April 4, 2013 at Newton Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Higgins, daughter of John and Ruth (Hommer) Maurer was born in New York, NY September 9, 1954. She has been a resident of Hardyston Twp for over 30 years.

Mrs. Higgins was an Assistant Trader with Poor Boy Trading in Franklin. She was very active with running the Hardyston Twp. Election Polls and was a member of the U.S. Humane Society.

Mrs. Higgins was predeceased by her father, John Maurer in 1977 and is survived by her husband, Mark Becker; son Allen Higgins of Wayne; stepson, Christopher Becker of Pittsfield, NH; mother, Ruth Maurer of Paramus; sister, Kristine Kuebler of Oakland as well as a niece and a nephew.
