George O'Keefe died on February 14, 2019 in Lakewood Colorado, he left behind one son Shane 
and was divorced at time of death.

I met George when I went from OLV to Westbrook and he helped me get used to public school.  Considered wild and wacky (which he was), he was also a really good person.  He was part of the Forest Ave crowd across from Grimstaf's and down the block from the Campbell clans!  It is great to see the pix of George and his son.  I think his son knows that his dad was a great guy.  As most of us in the class of '67 are hitting the age of 70, I hope other dads and sons can think the same.  By the way, George was also a great chef!!!
